  Laser Kidney Stone Treatment in Kota Percutaneous nephrolithotomy is a procedure used to remove kidney stones from the body when they can't pass on their own. "Percutaneous" means through the skin. The procedure creates a passageway from the skin on the back to the kidney. Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) is a minimally-invasive procedure to remove stones from the kidney by a small puncture wound (up to about 1 cm) through the skin.
